UIFI

Website of the Engineering Faculty Research Unit at UNDC: research lines, thesis stages, events, and online registration for the FEINFO research fair.

UIFI is the website of the Research Unit of the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Cañete (UNDC), the office that promotes, manages, and supervises the faculty's research projects.

For students, it brings together the research lines (computing, data science and AI, ICT platforms, and technology management of complexity), the three stages of a thesis, past research events, and a FAQ with downloadable templates for the research paper, thesis project, and thesis report.

It also handles registration for FEINFO, the faculty's formative research fair: students sign up with their institutional email (one entry per student, no duplicates), pick their advisor, course, and research line, and upload their scientific article and annexes as PDFs.

It's built with PHP following an MVC structure, with Bootstrap and jQuery on the frontend and Select2 for the searchable form fields.
